The 2021 Toyota Highlander is a tad bit more spacious. The overall length of the 2020 models is 194.9 inches, whereas the 2021 version has a length of 197.4 inches. It gives more room for leg space and cargo space. The cargo space increased from 13.8 to 16 cubic feet in the 2021 models, and the second-row legroom improved from 38.4 inches to 41.0 inches. That said, the front legroom was reduced from 44.2 inches to 40.4 inches in the 2021 model.
