Quick and easy bread appetizers

Bread is that one food product which is found in almost every American household, and it is consumed every day in almost every meal. There might have been times where you would have thought of doing something interesting with that pack of bread that you consume with mashed potatoes and gravy. You don’t need to be a cooking enthusiast or a gourmet chef to create a recipe of your own.

Quick and easy bread appetizers
Simple but unusual additions can make a whole new appetizer which has its own unique taste.

Let’s start with something very basic. You might have bread that has few slices left, and you surely don’t want it to go stale and neither it is sufficient enough to prepare a whole meal out of it. Smear some peanut butter and place a (flavored) cheese slice and cover it with another piece of bread and grill it to perfection. Cut the sandwich into the shape of your choice. Eat it while the cheese is still melting or pack to your work.

Bread pizzas are an amazing option. Instead of buying the conventional pizza bread, you can use bread slices. Add pizza sauce, (they are easily available in the market if you don’t wish to make one from scratch), toppings that please you. Grate some mozzarella cheese on top or cover the whole dressing with slice of cheese and bake it in the oven. Bread pizzas are an amazing appetizer if you have many guests coming over.

If you still find pizzas bread to be tedious, then garlic bread is the right appetizer for you. You don’t even have to go out and buy one separately. All you need is bread slices, some butter and very finely chopped garlic (or garlic powder). Melt butter in a pan and add garlic powder to it while its melting. Mix them well. Once the mixture is ready, smear some on the pan while its heating and pour some on the bread slices. Bake the bread slices on medium to low flame until both the sides turn crispy brown. Again, you can enhance the taste your appetizer by grating cheese on the bread while its being baked or add (garlic flavored) cheese slice on top. Serve them whole or in bite sizes.
