After having a botox injection, the effects such as the disappearance of lines and wrinkles last about three to four months. The risks associated with these injections are minor but it is always good to have it administered under the supervision of a medical practitioner.
The side effects of Botox injection can be anything from drooping eyelids, swelling of the area, tightness of the skin, weakness of the muscles, bruises on the skin, headaches etc. These side effects and many others are usually felt in the area where the Botox is injected. But sometimes the side effects can spread to the other areas which can cause difficulty in speaking, swallowing or even breathing. It is always better to have thee injections administered under the supervision of a practitioner and only when needed.
